Large Industrial Door (LID) designs, manufactures and installs hangar doors, aircraft hangar doors and shipyard doors in our own factory in Kocaeli, Turkey.
Up to 50 m in a single piece, and unlimited width when doors are synchronised through a mullion system. We are the manufacturer, not a reseller.
Established in 2010, Large Industrial Door (LID) engineers, manufactures, delivers and installs special door systems for facilities with very large openings. Design, structural calculation, production and assembly are carried out in-house, which is why we can build to any dimension a project requires instead of fitting the project to a catalogue.
Every door is calculated for the wind and durability conditions of its own region. That engineering step is what separates a door that survives twenty years on a coastal shipyard from one that does not.

NorwayCustom projects follow the same four stages. Timelines below are typical; the exact schedule is confirmed with your drawings.
Send us the clear opening dimensions, the building structure and the location. Wind load and durability are calculated for that specific region, not to a generic standard.
We prepare the door design, the structural interface and the technical drawing for your approval. Colour chart and specification sheet are issued at this stage.
Manufacturing takes 45–50 days under normal factory load. In peak periods this can extend to 60–90 days, which we confirm before the order is placed.
Our own installation team assembles the door on site, tests the rope break safety system and the two-motor drive, and hands over the control unit.
A hangar door is produced up to 50 m wide in one piece. Beyond that we synchronise several doors through a mullion system, which removes the width limit entirely. Shipyard doors can reach 50 × 50 m in a single piece.
Production of hangar doors takes 45–50 days under normal conditions. Depending on the factory load this period can extend to 60–90 days. The schedule is confirmed in writing before the order.
Hangar doors are project-specific. Dimensions, wind load, drive configuration and finish all change the price, so there is no list price. Send your opening dimensions and we will return a project-based quotation.
The standard equipment of a hangar door is the rope break safety system, two motors, two rope drums and one control unit.
Fold-up PVC fabric doors are designed to operate for many years without maintenance interruptions. They fold upwards, so they occupy no floor or side space when open.
Yes. We have delivered and installed projects in more than 25 countries, including Iraq, Macedonia, Bangladesh, Algeria and Norway. Installation is carried out by our own teams.
No. Shipyard doors are suitable for all weather conditions and are not affected by water or excessive moisture. All structural parts are made of galvanised steel.
Clear width, clear height, building structure and location are enough to start. We return a project-based quotation with a technical drawing, not a catalogue price.
